Question: http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showthread.php?t=28610
Since downloading and installing the latest software and firmware from the www.vodacom.co.za site, my Option data card will crash (both lights flashes alternately) randomly. This is always followed shortly after the datacard crash by a Blue Screen of Death crash for Windows. The BSOD states DRIVER_IRQ_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL and g3gcumdm.sys as the culprit.
This ONLY happens on a GPRS connection. When using 3G, all is fine. This was never a problem with the original drivers and firmware.
I have tried re-installing the new drivers to no avail. Before reverting to older drivers and possibly an older firmware, I want to check if anyone else had this problem and if there is a solution.
I’m not even sure where I’ll get the older firmware, and if I can’t find it, if the older drivers will work with the new firmware.
I REALLY need GPRS as I sometimes have to do work outside of 3G coverage.
解决方法:
1. 将firmware降到ver: 3.1.6(Reverting to older drivers and possibly an older firmware-V3.1.6) (Google: Flash_fw_v316.exe)
